Take me down in the turquoise sea

Where blue crabs scuttle and silver fish flee

Lead me down below the waves

And let’s go seeking mermaids

Bring me to our silent place

Where haunting echoes kiss my face

Take me into kaleidoscope lights

And let’s go seeking mermaids

Place a white shell inside my palm

And bless it with a kissing charm

Then keep it in your pocket dear

And let’s go seeking mermaids

Hush me to a crystal cave

Where treasures lie of sailors brave

Put down the pearls and septre bright

And let’s go seeking mermaids

Pull me deep where sunlight pales

An emerald glint on a rainbow tail

The bubbles leave a trail to follow

Let’s go seeking mermaids
